GTV 3.0 V6 (116.CA)

The GTV 3.0 was built in collaboration with Alfa Romeo South Africa and Autodelta for racing homologation and uses the basic model 116.C.

This version of the GTV was built from 1984 to 1985 in 212 copies with an engine producing 185HP.

The engine was increased in size to 3l class (2934ccm) with six Dell'Orto 40mm carburettors (the fuel injection was dropped), Autodelta supplied special cranks, heads, pistons and liners. Maximum speed is reported to be 224 km/h.

Astetically it can be distinguished by the hood with a prominent bulge including a large NACA air intake.
