C3 Alfa Romeo Twin Turbo (116.70)

The C3 Alfa Romeo Twin Turbo was built via order of Alfa Romeo North America and uses the basic model 116.C.

This version of the GTV was built from 1985 to 1986 in 36 (some sources state something between 30 and 35) copies with an engine producing 230HP.

The company Callaway Cars built several twin turbocharged versions of the GTV6 2.5 during a period of two years.

The setup of the car was changed in the areas of twin turbo installation including the lowering the engine compression to 9:0, light alloy wheels from the suppliers Speedline or OZ, car suspension and improved braking system.
