Alfetta GTV 2.6i V8 (116.36)

The Alfetta GTV 2.6i V8 is a limited edition version for the German Alfa Romeo distributor.

This model was built in 1977 in 20 copies with an Alfa Romeo Montral engine producing 200HP.

This version is based on the factory built GTV 2000 and received several modifications apart the engine change.

Aesthetically the GTV 2.6i V8 is recognisable by the tail with a small spoiler in black plastic, the central Alfa Romeo logo in black and additionally the logo 2600 on the right side, front scudetto in black without the chrome inserts between the scudetto and the front lights, bumpers in black plastic, engine hood modified to house the bigger engine and air inlets, lettering 2.6 at the bottom of the door pillar.

Inside are sports leather seats and a logo Alfetta GT V8 above the glovebox flap on the right side.
