The GT shows a black plastic grille with rectangular meshes without any chrome stripes, with four circular headlights surrounded by stainless steel edges and a different scudetto than on the Alfetta. The GT is delivered including a matt black front spoiler under the front bumper and stainless steel bumpers made with a black insert, but without overriders. The fuel tank cap is covered by a flap and the taillights all show chrome edges. The boot lid shows a central Alfa Romeo emblem and a chrome Alfetta GT writing in italics on the right which is only found on this model 116.10.

The dashboard is black plastic material and only the tachometer and a few indicator lights are placed in front of the driver and the rest of the instruments are all located in the centre console of the car. Seats are available in leather or fabric combined with leather. Period optionals include blued glass and alloy rims.
