Murciélago LP 670-4 SV
The Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in early March 2009.
The name SV goes back to earlier Lamborghini models such as the Miura SV and Diablo SV, SV is the abbreviation for the Italian Super Veloce.
According to official figures, the LP 670-4 SV weighs 100 kg less than its predecessors, and the engine power has been increased to 670 hp.
350 vehicles were planned for production, but ultimately 186 were built.
Almost all cars were delivered with sequential gearboxes, unofficially there is talk of five or six cars with manual transmission with six forward gears.
The air intakes were enlarged for brake cooling and the front spoiler was extended to improve downforce.
The engine cover was newly developed for the SV and consisted of three hexagonal Plexiglas panels held by a carbon fiber frame.
The LP 640's optional 15-inch carbon-ceramic disc brakes with 6-piston calipers were standard on the car.
All interiors were trimmed in Alcantara.
